USA approves chloroquine to cure COVID-19

- The United States of America (USA) has approved the anti-malarial drug chloroquine for use as a treatment for the coronavirus disease.

Chloroquine is a drug used to treat malareia and severe arthritis, there are reports that the drug has proved effective in the treatment of coronavirus.
The  United States of America (USA) has approved the anti-malarial drug chloroquine for use as a treatment against the new coronavirus. President Donald Trump in a press briefing on Thursday, March 19, said the Food and Drug Administration approved chloroquine for use as coronavirus treatment, Forbes reports.
President Trump also said that other antiviral medications will be fast-tracked for FDA approval.
